Berpiztu 2016-2017 denboraldiko LaLigako 6. jardunaldiko Athletic Club 3-1 Sevilla FC partida. Ernesto Valverderen taldeak denboraldi hasierako garaipen garrantzitsuenetako bat lortu zuen. Partidaren amaierak denboraldiko irudirik bitxienetako bat utzi zuen. 88. minutuan, Salvatore Sirigu kanporatua izan zen Adurizen aurkako penaltia egiteagatik. Sevillak aldaketa guztiak eginda zituenez, Vicente Iborra erdilariak atezainaren postua hartu behar izan zuen azken minutuetan. Adurizek penaltia sare barrura bidali zuen eta 3-1ekoa ezarri zuen atezain inprobisatu baten aurrean. Goals from Mikel San José, Mikel Balenziaga, who scored his first goal for Athletic Club, and Aritz Aduriz from the penalty spot secured Athletic's fourth consecutive league win against Jorge Sampaoli's unbeaten Sevilla side. The match also featured one of the most unusual endings of the season. In the 88th minute, Sevilla goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu was sent off after conceding a penalty on Aritz Aduriz. With all three substitutions already used, Vicente Iborra had to play the closing minutes as goalkeeper.
